Construction Disputes
Unfortunately, there are many situations in middle Tennessee where unlicensed contractors prey on homeowners and offer to provide contracting services for which they are unqualified. Depending on the size of the contract, there are numerous rules that a contractor is required to follow. Sometimes, a licensed contractor simply does not perform his services in a workmanlike manner. At other times, the contractor performs just as promised, but the homeowner simply doesn’t pay.
Regardless of the issue, Jerry is able to assist either the homeowner or the contractor with their dispute. If he represents the homeowner, he will investigate the contractor to see if it complied with the relevant statutes. Even if the contractor was properly licensed, but did a poor job, Jerry will help the homeowner in either resolving the matter with the contractor, or filing a lawsuit. If the contractor is the client, Jerry will assist the contractor in getting the payment it is owed, or filing a lawsuit.
